Snow hawks are not teaching weapons properly. I've never seen anything quite like it. If I miss them, I can be granted experience. However, when I hit them, I get zero experience. I tested this with multiple weapons as well as TM. If I stance my offense down in order to miss, I can lock my weapons there, but if I hit them I can't get experience. This is in TF.

Not sure if this is a bug or not.. never seen this before, and wasn't sure where to post it:

A s'sugi malchata gestures at you.
You feel a chill as a spell breaches your ward!
A large ball of flame flies at you!
You feel a wash of heat as a spell shatters against your ward.
The fireball contracts and gains speed as it nears a s'sugi malchata!
The fireball slams into its left arm, completely vaporizing flesh and bone and leaving a smoking stump.
The s'sugi malchata is severely stunned!

At the time the only active spells on were Lay Ward and Shadows, but the character wasn't hiding nor did it get any damage. Is this like a benefit of Lay ward? that it bounces the magic spell back on the creature?

No, it's just that the Lay Ward messaging doesn't exactly jive with how Fireball works. Fireball will attempt to hit its target plus any other target close by. The ward is blocking it from hitting you, but ward or no it's going to try and hit other creatures near you because it's fun that way.
